About Scott

Scott was born in 1965 in Waukesha Memorial Hospital.  Growing up Scott's family moved several times throughout Waukesha County.  They finally settled in City of Waukesha were Scott went on to graduate from Waukesha South High School. Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Administration from UW-Madison in 1989. 

 

Scott and his two brothers were taught early on by his parents Roy and Ginny Newcomer the importance of being an active part of the community.   Roy and Ginny were always focused on the community, whether it was starting their own Real Estate business or helping to co-found Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. 

Scott has three daughters: Alicia, 16; Nicole 15; and Taylor, 12. All three girls are active in the girl scouts, sports, and church.  Scott enjoy's traveling with the girls as much a possible.       

 

Scott is the Co-Founder of Newcomers Home Inspection Service (NHIS) and American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT).  NHIS was one of the largest home inspection companies in the country before he sold it 1995.  Scott also built AHIT into the largest training company for home inspectors in the country before he sold it. 

 

In a special election in December of 2005 Scott was elected to the Assembly for the 33rd district.  Scott was re-elected to a second term in 2006 and recently he was named the Chair of Financial Institutions.
